Frequently Asked Questions
Prescription requirements depend on the orthotic or brace you need and any insurance or funding requirements. If you already have a prescription or referral, bring it to your appointment. If you don’t, call us before booking and we can explain what documentation may be needed.
ProMotion does not provide medical diagnoses. Our team assesses your movement, alignment and support needs to help determine which orthotic or bracing options may be appropriate. If you have new symptoms or an undiagnosed concern, speak with your doctor or another qualified healthcare professional first.
Call us at 613-725-3415 to book. We’ll ask a few questions about what you need so we can arrange the right type of appointment and allow enough time for your visit. If you’re unsure where to start, our team can help.
Please bring the following, where applicable:
- Your prescription or referral and relevant clinical notes.
- Insurance information and any Assistive Devices Program (ADP) paperwork.
- Orthotics or braces you currently use.
- The shoes you normally wear, particularly for appointments involving your feet or legs.
Bring any questions you’d like to discuss, too. If you’re unsure whether you have the right documents or footwear, call us before your visit.
